enough that it wasn't worth trying by myself, and like i said, i have 3 more yards of this vinyl, so if it all goes to hell, then into the PROFESSIONAL SHOP it will go. i am a stickler for details, but...i just didn't see the little bit of stitching that was needed as being worth $500.00 i was quoted for the work. i decided it was worth it to try this on my own. the REASON this FAQ is posted here so soon is so that people can see what i have done, and decide for themselves. i am not encouraging anyone to try this unless they feel comfortable, but what i will say is that i just don't feel it is as difficult as people are making it out to be. i mean, even if it comes up, i can pull that piece of vinyl, sew the edges, and then re install it. easy enough. but thanks for your thoughts, as usual, they are welcomed and appreciated. :-)
